Theme Park Hotel is the first hotel to be built at Genting Highlands Resort at its early development in 1971.Initially, Theme Park Hotel was called Highland Hotels but it was renamed later on.
The hotel was initially planned on March 31, 1969 by the founder of Genting Berhad, Lim Goh Tong from china who migrated to Malaysia in his early age.
Looking at his great effort, Malaysia’s first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman was touched and gave him the one and only license to operate casino in Malaysia on April 28, 1969.
Apart from making a history in Genting the “Theme Park Hotel” is located exactly at the main entrance to Genting outdoor theme park.It has two restaurants at its ground floor, which are Happy valley restaurant and Penang Food Village restaurant.

The Theme Park Hotel, Genting Highlands is about 50 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur.
It is conveniently located within a short walk from the Arena of Stars, Genting Casino and is a few steps from the popular Genting Theme Park and it’s many exciting adventure rides.
